Key Updates

TBD

Field Strategy and Voter Contact

Priority geography for field efforts:

  1. Rock Island County
  2. Kewanee / Henry County area
  3. Galesburg
  4. Monmouth and Macomb

General election door knocking will begin around May 1.  Early field efforts should focus on persuasion and name ID, especially with: Conservative Democrats, Independents, and Moderate/rational Republicans.

Fundraising

We are targeting $500K+ by September 11, 2026.  Key fundraising methods: direct fundraising through social media contacts, direct phone calls for higher value asks, paid fundraising (starting with Google Ads).  When communicating directly with contacts, please embed the donation link.  Download the QR codes for in person connections.

Opponent Framing

Dan Swanson is well respected in the community and not easily attacked on personality.  The campaign will focus less on personal attacks, focus more on broader party contrast and Republican alignment.  More to come.
